There are two ways to contribute data :

• Tilia files with associated Tilia forms and related publication(s) ;
  Tilia is a free software program written by Eric Grimm. For more information on Tilia, click here.
• Readable spreadsheet (xls, wks, dbf, sdc) and information entered in a printed document ( and any available publications.

In both case, send your data to the database manager

How to query the APD ?

Modern pollen data

Data are available as tilia files.

You can use our web tool to download pollen and climate data in each sites.

Fossil pollen data

Data are available as tilia files.

Data compilation is assumed by PARADOX. The APD uses the European Pollen Database scripts for the transfert of data from TILIA spreadsheets to the PARADOX tables.

You can use a relational database management system such as Paradox or MS Access, once you have download the APD.
